The mission of Opstead Church is to worship and know Jesus Christ through God's Word, becoming like Him, and making Him known in our community.
Opstead Church is located north of Isle, MN. Whether you're new to the area or have made Mille Lacs your home for years, we'd be delighted to meet you this weekend.
After a time of prayer during the service, toddlers–4th grade may join us in the Sunshine Room for playtime, a snack, and a Bible lesson led by our awesome Children's Ministry volunteers. We teach kids that they are loved by God and they can do big things through Jesus, even if they're small.
Bonfire, Opstead's Wednesday night youth group, is on break for the summer.
As a church with only volunteers, we don't have a 9-to-5 contact person over phone. However, you may reach out to an elder by calling Red Beard Lumber Co. and asking for Ron.

We're glad you're here, but we hope to meet you in person! We'd love to get to know you, pray with you, and learn about Jesus together — plus, we don't know how to serve you free food over the Internet.
15-20 Min
Being volunteers, we don't always have a full live band present. A worship leader will facilitate a time of worshiping to Biblical songs ranging from hymns to modern contemporary.
10-15 Min
Anyone is given an opportunity to share a prayer request, need, personal faith victory, and more. This is an open time for whoever needs it, and is a way for us to live out Romans 12:9-21.
20-30 Min
We'll hear a Bible-based, Gospel-centered message from a rotation of preachers. Messages are topical and don't follow a particular series, but are very serious about one thing: Jesus.
Optional
Lastly, we eat! You can stay for a free meal after the service is over. It can range from appetizers to full-on feasts. Either way, it's a good time to meet new people and enjoy great food.
Optional
We don't pass an offering plate around. Instead, you may give as you feel led at the giving station in the back of the room. This money goes to support those in need throughout our community, puts gas in the lawnmower, buys cleaning supplies, and keeps the electricity bill paid. We never ask visitors to give; we just hope you enjoy your time worshiping with us.
